August 2, 2014 Choral Workshop and Concert with Marco Frisina

This one-day workshop led by Monsignor Frisina was for all church music directors, cantors, choristers, and organists from the local parishes of the Dioceses of Metuchen, Paterson and Trenton in New Jersey and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.

 

The keynote address given by Monsignor was "To Sing the Faith: Music in the Service of the Liturgy and in Evangelization" followed by rehearsals of a number of his liturgical pieces, then mass and concluding with a concert of these works under his direction. 

 

Participants came from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This was a marvelous opportunity to meet, work with and worship in fellowship with one of the world's leading composer's of liturgical and sacred music.
