• Chairman of the Diocesan Commission for Sacred Art and Cultural Heritage

• Professor at the Pontifical Lateran University, the University of the Holy Cross and the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music

• Since 1997, appointed a Virtuous Academician of the Pontifical Insignia of Fine Arts and Virtuous Literature at the Pantheon where he is also the spiritual assistant

• Since 1984, founder and director of the Choir of the Diocese of Rome (Il Coro della Diocesi di Roma)

• In 2016, he was chosen by Pope Francis as one of 1,142 priests worldwide to be named as a Missionary of Divine Mercy to local parishes during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Each received the mandate to preach about God's mercy and was given special authority to pardon even those sins reserved to the Holy See
